Our team liaises with your administrators and support staff to provide any necessary training to utilize the writing and viewing functions of InClassNotesTM. We will customize our software to your unique course structure and naming scheme. All InClassNotesTM captions are available for download as editable and searchable document files.

We can also provide custom solutions on individual projects which professional note writers and/or specific software may be required. Custom solutions include stenographers that opt to use their own stenography machines or someone that users speech recognition software.


InClassNotesTM combines a cost-effective Software-as-a-Service model with the robust infrastructure of a “cloud” -- such as Amazon Web Services.

The cloud-based nature of InClassNotesTM enables users and note writers (or stenographers) to access the cloud from any PC, Mac, tablet, or smartphone with an internet connection without installing software or plug-ins on their devices. The users and writers simply log into the online workspace (similar to how users log into email accounts) and have access to the service.

    Sure. You can edit the text while you are viewing it.
  • May I search for terms in the text?
    Yes. Just click the magnifying glass icon and enter the desired search term(s).
  • May I save the edited text?
    Yes. Simply click the “Save Current” button in the upper right hand corner and your edited version will be saved to your computer.
  • How do I download a copy of the writer’s exact text?
    Easy. Simply click “Save Original” in the upper right hand corner and the writer’s exact text will be saved to your computer.
  • Can I download the writer’s text at a later date?
    Yes. You can download the writer’s text from the Archived section.
  • Do I need to have attended the class in order to download the writer’s text?
    Not at all. You can download the writer’s text at anytime regardless if you attended class or not.
  • Will I receive notification when the writer makes corrections to the transcription?
    No. Simply check back on the InClassNotesTM website to see if the writer has provided updated versions of their text.
  • How do I become a Writer?
